How To Request Additional Recycling Cart In Corpus Christi?

If you have a lot of recyclables that don’t fit in a single cart, you can order a new recycling cart paying an additional $10 per month with $12 as a delivery fee. Call 311 to order a new blue bin.

Apart from the curbside collection, there are two drop-off locations where all residents can drop recyclables.

Acceptable Items For Bulky Collection: Indoor/Outdoor furniture, mattresses, carpet cut into pieces, metal, plastic swing sets, large toys, bicycles, large household appliances, and maximum 4 tires.

Keep in mind that for any additional tires, you have to pay a fee per item. All residents must separate all large items and segregate them into metal, non-metal and brush piles.

Brush and yard waste is collected four times around the year. Usually, the schedule for brush pickup is the same as the bulky collection.

  • Brush will only be collected the week following the setout dates for your designated area.
  • Cut large limbs into small pieces before putting them as yard waste.
  • Only limbs, tree trimmings, leaves, and grass are considered a brush.
  • Keep in mind that lumber is not part of the brush pickup schedule.
  • Put all the branches on the curb in such a way that they won’t block the road.
  • Always place your trash pile at least 5 feet away from the road, mailboxes, and water meters.
