Three Cuban natives were ar-
rested Monday by officers of the
Calhoun County Sheriff's Depart
ment and the Department of Public
Safety Narcotics Task Force from
Victoria
Calhoun County Narcotics In-
vestigator Rory Braun said the three
men had been the target of a lengthy
investigation into the cocaine traffic
in Calhoun County
The arrest took place as the three
men were driving from Port Lavaca
toward Victoria on U.S Highway 87
They were stopped near Kamey
where a substance believed to be co-
caine, with an estimated street
value of $20,000. was seized. Braun

The Texas homeports were

bent's 1988 budget, submitted to Con

a Republican, both said they would

"These are the first requests the

were part of the Water Resources
Development Act signed into law
