It's a big week for District 29-5A baseball as the spots in the zone playoffs are still up for grabs in the final week of the district's regular season.
In the North Zone, Ray sits atop with a 5-1 record, Victoria East is second at 4-2, with Gregory-Portland done with zone play at 4-4 and Victoria West at 3-3.
The South Zone is a much larger mess, Veterans Memorial, King and Flour Bluff are all tied at 4-2, and Carroll is at 3-3. Veterans Memorial will face off with Flour Bluff, and King takes on long-time rival Carroll. They will play two games this week on Tuesday and Friday.
